YUKAN Karate Championship 2012 - A great succes! |
Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, May 5, 2012 - Sensei Denis Cordeiro of Montreal Kanreikai Karate welcomed over 280 competitors at the YUKAN Karate Championship 2012.
Hanshi Manny Matias presided over this 12th annual Karate Championship organized by Sensei Denis.
Competitors from Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Lanaudière, Saguenay, New Brunswick, Danbury CT, New Canaan CT, New York City and Ravena, NY took part in the tournament featuring Kata, Weapon Kata and Fighting events.
Congratulations to all the YUKAN participants!
The YUKAN 2012 has been a great success, allowing Montreal Kanreikai Karate to donate $2929.74 to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation.

Jonquière Kanreikai Défi-Challenge 2012 |
Jonquière, April 14, 2012 - We would like to thank Shihan Carl Tremblay of Jonquière Kanreikai Karate for welcoming our competition team to the Défi-Challenge 2012 in Jonquière.
Again this year, Hanshi Manny Matias, Grand Master of World Kanreikai Karate, presided over the tournament. Sensei Calvin Ortiz of Ravena Kanreikai dojo in NY State also attended the event.

Terrebonne KIK Tournament 2012 |
Terrebonne, March 31, 2012 - We would like to thank Shihan Antoine Hanachian for welcoming us to the 2012 edition of his annual KIK Tournament.
Once more our team did very well in Kata and Fighting:
- Madison L.: 2nd in Kata
- Maxime L.: 2nd in Kata
- Zdravko V.: 2nd in Kata; 1st in Fighting
- Robert Lemire: 2nd in Fighting
Congratulations to these competitors and to Chloé, Kevin and Jayden who all made Montreal Kanreikai proud!

Joliette Kanreikai Karate Tournament 2012 |
Joliette, February 25, 2012 - We would like to thank Sensei Dominic Morin of Joliette Kanreikai Karate for welcoming us to the 2012 edition of his annual Karate Tournament. Hanshi Manny Matias, Grand Master of World Kanreikai Karate was presiding the event.
Competitors from several Quebec karate schools traveled to Joliette to take part in this very popular tournament.
The seven competitors who represented Montreal Kanreikai dojo were very successful in Kata and Fighting events!
